A NOTICE TO ALL ASSOCIATIONS AND REGIONAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Willis Australia has been appointed as Netball's Insurance Brokers. Willis are one of the largest insurance brokers in the world and have operated in Australia for over 50 years. Willis have had a long association with various sporting organisations throughout Australia and are the current Insurance Brokers for Netball NSW and Netball ACT.

Willis have provided an enhanced Insurance Program for all Associations and their members for the following classes of business:

• Public Liability/Professional Indemnity
• Management Liability cover for Associations and Clubs
• Sports Injury/Personal Accident
• Asset Program for Property and Equipment for each Association

 Some of the additional benefits that have been included include an increase in loss of income (from 80% to 100% up to $250 per week, an increase in the Non Medicare Medical Benefit from $2,250 to $2,500 and the inclusion of property cover of up to $20,000 for every affiliated association across Australia (with the ability to increase should you wish).

Updated Certificates of Currency for Associations are now available via the Willis website. There will also be a facility on the website for clubs to request a Certificate of Currency and/or have a Council noted as an Interested Party on their Certificate.

There is also a new Personal Injury claim form on the website for members who sustain an injury after 4.00pm 1st November 2010. Please note that any If a member has sustained an injury on or before 1st November 2010 and would like to make a claim, they will have to complete and return the JLT Sport Personal Injury Claim Form which is also available via a link on the Willis website
