Foundation Coaching Course

Pre-Requisites

Age 14 years (minimum)
Netball Queensland membership (registration available during course)

Duration of Course

Sports Specific Foundation: 4 hours

Attendance Requirements

100% attendance
Successful completion of all components
Active participation in practical demonstrations, work groups
Participants must be assessed as competent

Coaches that attends the Sports Specific Foundation Course must complete the online Beginning Coaching General Principles and bring their certificate of completion along on the day.

Assessment

To successfully attain the Foundation Course Accreditation the participant must be rated competent on all aspects of the performance criteria outlined in the Assessment Form.

Participants may submit the session plan and present the practical coaching task as many times as necessary to meet the requirements of the assessment task.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Coaches who have completed the Beginning General Principles will be given RPL for those components of the course. An RPL Foundation Course has been provided to cater for these individuals.
